ISSAQUAH, WA, September 1, 2026. Rowley Properties, Inc. and the City of Issaquah today announced that Rivian (NASDAQ: RIVN) will open a vehicle service and showroom facility at Hyla Crossing, taking over the former Evergreen Ford dealership at 1500 18th Avenue NW. Rivian’s lease begins January 1, with the facility expected to open to customers in early spring 2027.

The location, visible from I-90, gives Rivian a high-visibility home in a neighborhood that has increasingly drawn businesses built around sustainability and outdoor life, including REI Co-op nearby.

“Rivian’s arrival reflects exactly the kind of forward-looking investment Issaquah wants to attract,” said Issaquah Mayor Mark Mullet. “It brings new jobs, new services for residents, and another vote of confidence in our community from a company that shares our commitment to sustainability.”

For Rowley Properties, a family-owned company that has operated in Issaquah for more than 70 years, the deal continues a long-term approach to development at Hyla Crossing.

“We think about every tenant decision in terms of what we’re leaving for the next generation, not just the next quarter,” said Kari Magill, CEO of Rowley Properties. “Rivian fits that model. They’re a company built around long-term thinking about the planet, and that’s the same lens we bring to how we develop and steward this land and community.”

The move also marks a transition for the site’s previous occupant. Evergreen Ford operated at the location for 38 years before relocating within Issaquah.

“Evergreen Ford has been part of this community for nearly four decades, and we’re pleased to see their continued investment in Issaquah,” said Kelly Richardson, Commercial Broker at Rowley Properties. “Welcoming Rivian to Ford’s former space reflects the strength and evolution of our local business community, longstanding companies continuing to grow here while new businesses find a home alongside them. With Rivian preparing for the launch of the R2 and expanding into electric micromobility, including e-bikes, there’s also a lot for the public to be excited about. Issaquah will have a front-row seat to what’s next for the Rivian brand.”

The new facility will offer vehicle service, maintenance, and a showroom for Rivian’s electric truck and SUV lineup.
